Léa Augereau   New & remarkable Artists

Originally from La Rochelle, Léa grew up alongside her seamstress grandmother, who introduced her to the art of sewing from a very young age. Coming from a family of weavers, she also developed a particular sensitivity for textiles. Passionate about fabrics and everything related to the development of clothes, she naturally followed her passion and decided to go to Paris to work in the world of fashion. For three years, she evolved in the demanding world of ready-to-wear and Haute Couture, however keeping a slight hint of disappointment deep in her heart.

It didn't take long for success to knock on his door. Léa reveals her paintings on her Instagram account, immediately arousing public enthusiasm. If her first paintings were inspired by her clothing experiences, other themes and inspirations quickly became involved, such as her generation, feminism, sorority and diversity. Through her brushes, she brings to life portraits of strong, free and determined women, representative of her generation. His inspiration draws from everyday life, but also from fashion, design and architecture.

Its reputation quickly spread, attracting the attention of major fashion brands such as Le Bon Marché, Sessun, Jonak and Adidas. Clothes and jewelry are sublimely highlighted in his paintings, while his joyful and attractive universe allows his signature as a stylist to be instantly recognized. Her love for textiles intertwines harmoniously with her works, manifesting itself in particular through hangings that she creates in her image, whether through oil on canvas, weavings, or even in the possibility of future collections clothing.
