Description
Les Couleurs du Vent is a poetic seascape, half-figurative, half-abstract, evoking escape, lightness, travel, freedom. The choice of gray for the background is a nod to the landscapes of the Atlantic coast in winter and out of season, where the artist lives and works in his seaside studio.
The suggestion, the barely sails marked, defined by touches of irregular colors, the reflections which elongate the patterns, are the characteristics of the artist's style.
The work is worked with a brush and a knife with light impasto. It is covered with a satin varnish.

Presentation
The artist has always lived at the edge of the water, on the Atlantic coast, as close as possible to these seascapes that he loves passionately and of which he strives, canvas after canvas, as a sensitive and privileged witness, to restore light, poetry and serenity.
Colorist, he works his semi-abstract seascapes with oil, brush and knife, playing on the contrast between the motif worked in full paste and the soft background, thus offering each of his works a very dynamic contemporary.
