Description
Ready to hang. Comes with signed certificate of authenticity. "Echoes of Memory" is a hauntingly beautiful surreal portrait dedicated to the celebrated Armenian writer Paruyr Sevak. This piece transcends time, intertwining the tragedy of the Armenian Genocide of 1915 with the enduring spirit of its people. The ethereal figures caught in a dance of defiance and sorrow symbolize the resilience of a nation, while the open book held by Sevak serves as a vessel for the collective narrative of survival and identity. The monochromatic palette is pierced by the starkness of the bells, perhaps a metaphor for the clarion call to never forget the past.
