Description
This artwork presents a serene and contemplative composition featuring a muted palette of whites, creams, and subtle earthy tones. The surface is textured, suggesting depth and complexity, with a central focus on a diagonal band of organic forms. These forms are delicately layered, exuding an ethereal quality that draws the viewer into its ambiguous landscape. The artist employs a masterful technique of blending and layering pigments, creating an effect reminiscent of natural elements like stone or weathered surfaces. The faint hints of brown and beige contribute to the overall sense of antiquity and timelessness. Fine lines and cracks traverse the canvas, adding an element of raw elegance and mimicking the imperfections found in nature. The simplicity of the composition belies its intricate details, encouraging a closer inspection and inviting interpretations of geological formations or abstract dreamscapes. This piece captures the essence of minimalism while evoking a profound sense of tranquility and reflection.

Lika Sarishvili is a Georgian artist born in 1988 who lives and works in Tbilisi, Georgia. She received a master's degree at the Tbilisi State Academy of Arts in 2012. Since 2022, she has been a lecturer at the Tbilisi State Academy of Arts. The emotions of nature are his source of inspiration. Blue waves, a cup of coffee, trees whose leaves will soon turn yellow, cities, the smell of the forest, greenery, fresh air, unforgettable landscapes and tranquility, there are many places in the world where you can experience magical moments that give you energy and motivation. His abstract works are a kind of dialogue with people, where everyone sees their own world, expresses their emotions and impressions.
