Juliette June   New & remarkable Artists

If Juliette June’s primary focus is painting and drawing as mediums to explore, she uses them to embody both a sensitive observation of reality and an expression of her own consciousness. In her series "Fusion," she examines how to merge this dual approach — exogenous (landscape) and endogenous (consciousness). Ultimately, she seeks to reveal her experience of the continuity of matter to which we all belong. This perspective moves beyond perceiving life as a collection of juxtaposed elements, instead embracing it as a whole in perpetual movement and transformation. She compares this whole to a substance like sand in water: it is composed of masses with varying densities that dissolve, solidify, and move within a homogeneity that does not distinguish or hierarchize one grain from another.

This exploration involves capturing moments experienced in landscapes (sea, mountains, forest) across the changing seasons. She draws upon memory, imagination, and her present state of being to convey the impact of a sunbeam on a pair of pants or the arrangement of branches on the ground, a tangible and figurative approach. Superimposed on this is her experience of expanded consciousness, accessed during deep meditation, revealing her sense of belonging to this whole. This experience materializes in visions of a vibrant, shimmering pink primal matter to which all life belongs — a psychic and abstract approach.

The artist Juliette June seeks to make visible this essence or life flow that resonates within us and pervades both trivial moments (drinking coffee, walking in the forest) and the search for a particular state of consciousness. Her choice of titles underscores this resonance and osmosis that she experiences and shares in her paintings: "You Who Shiver as I Tread Upon You," "Spring’s Outburst."
