It all started when we both met years back.

I loved you and you loved me too. Our love journey began and was full of joy, love, peace and happiness!

You showered me with the love I couldn't even imagine, I bless my heart for finding solace in you and I promised myself to love you forever.

I thought the earth was full of love with you - which made me promise to lay down my life for you till forever.

You made me experience the beautiful love that our creator (God) used in creating the heavens and the earth.

Spending time with you now made me realise the truth about love!

But suddenly you changed!

Why? Why did you turn your back on me?

Why did you allow the joy to fade away?

Why?

You left me all by myself - lonely, with everything upside down!

You know what, even if I fall this time, I shall rise again - take my stand and make everything right!

For I have felt and enjoyed LOVE before, and I'll surely get it back because LOVE NEVER END!

Presentation

Olajire Olalekan is a self-taught artist born and raised in Ibadan. He was fascinated with art since childhood, he grew up with his uncle who was a cartoonist. Having finished high school he worked as a gallery attendant where his love for art deepened and he took had to enroll as a student under Mr. 

Tope Fatunmbi as an apprentice. While working as a freelance artist since 2019 he started as a full-time studio artist in 2021. He derives inspiration from nature and ancient building structures where in grew up. He works majorly in oil and acrylic depicting figuratively female beauty and the everyday struggle of average African and black people in the diaspora.
