Description
This work paints a daily scene on a train, revealing the essence of the instant expressive manner. Through daring darts and a vibrant color palette, the artist captures a moment of introspective tranquility. A personnage, absorbed by the writing, is sitting near the window, bathed in light, contrasting with the interior shadow of the wagon. The composition plays well with light and shadow, creating an introspective and mysterious ambience. The distorted geometric shapes at the top add a dynamic dimension, so that the colors soulfully liven up the vivacity of the moment. This painting embodies movement, isolation and reflection, simultaneously. In association with abstraction and reality, the work invites the spectator to indulge in this instant suspension, captivated by the beauty of everyday life reinvented.
Presentation
Celine DABOT
This is DABOT as she is, instantly recognizable in everything she creates.
Explosion of colors, crushing of volumes, dislocation of forms constitute the principal characteristics of his painting.
A born colorist, she transcends the always somewhat austere and intellectual order of cubism. Black becomes color, it supports the line, modulates the form.
From this tangle of colored shapes, the design of reality is woven.
A world where a disturbing sensuality emerges in this marriage of shadows and lights, this finesse of gradations, the sudden impulse of the line where one can read as much the taste for life as the desire to restore the balance of the vision to its fullness, leaving it to the spectator to discover it.
