Description
This work depicts a majestic cliff overlooking a calm ocean. The painter brilliantly captures the rough texture of the cliffs, accentuated by touches of vibrant green on the summit, suggesting tenacious vegetation. The contrast between the pale blue of the sky and the warm, earthy hues of the rock evokes a timeless serenity. The gentle movement of the waves at the foot of the cliffs adds a subtle dynamic to the composition. The chosen perspective immerses the viewer in the immensity of this natural landscape, provoking a reflection on the quiet power of nature. The mastery of nuances and light demonstrates a refined technique, making this painting both realistic and poetic.
Presentation
Nathalie has been immersed in art since childhood, influenced by her father, an architect and painter. Her passion was revealed during a visit to Paul Belmondo's studio. After 37 years in luxury communication, she decided to devote herself fully to her artistic vocation.
Trained at the Martenot, Penningen, Camondo and Louvre workshops, she refined her vision and mastery of forms and materials. Significant encounters brought her back to modeling and painting, reconnecting with her first creative impulses. It is thanks to Barbara that she gave new life to her brushes, rediscovering intense freedom and pleasure for ten years.
On his canvases, colors come to life. The brushes brush or embrace the material, depositing thin layers or flat tints. Transparencies, shadows and textures intertwine in a harmonious dance: yellows whisper to blues, purples illuminate whites, reds vibrate, and blacks come to life. His paintings, true symphonies of light, capture the warmth of summer, the softness of autumn or the tumultuous reflections of a raging ocean.
Based in the Pays de Retz, Nathalie draws inspiration from seascapes and marshes. Her works reinterpret reality from her photos, mixing imagination and poetry. Each canvas, imbued with emotion, invites you to travel between reality and reverie.
"If I like the painting, it's because painting frees me. If my painting speaks to you, it's because it takes wings."
