"I favor acrylic paint which is the most flexible way in my eyes to obtain the spontaneity necessary for my work which I carry out with knives, spatulas, brushes and paintbrushes.
The shimmering and dynamic colors of Africa, where I lived, which push you to optimism, to the joy of living, to vitality, have influenced my work which is aimed at the desire to share these impressions of positive energies. Abstraction gives me complete freedom to express generous shapes and make colors vibrate without any particular theory, inspiration being my only guide. I seek out the richness of the material so that it leads me to unsuspected solutions where gesture and thought come together."
