Description
Klish 51
Andriy Klishyn's painting "Flower of 9 Reincarnations" is a surreal and thought-provoking representation of transformation, eternity, and the cyclical nature of existence. The artwork features an intricate, twisting blue form that resembles both an organic structure and a cosmic gateway, merging elements of nature, spirituality, and the abstract. The fluid, looping forms suggest an infinite cycle, symbolic of reincarnation and the continuous process of rebirth. At the core of the structure, a small human-like figure appears to be emerging or dissolving into the endless flow, reinforcing the idea of life as an evolving journey. The soft, dreamlike background in warm golden tones contrasts with the cool blues of the central form, creating a sense of harmony between the physical and metaphysical realms.Through this work, Klishyn explores themes of transformation, spiritual evolution, and the boundless possibilities of existence beyond a single lifetime. The painting invites the viewer to contemplate the nature of reality, self-discovery, and the idea that life is not linear but rather an ever-unfolding cycle of growth and renewal.
Presentation
Born on February 27, 1958 in the city of Kirovabad, Republic of Azerbaijan. Almost immediately after birth he moved to Eastern Kazakhstan, to the city of Ust-Kamenogorsk. He graduated from the Technical and Economic Institute and worked as an engineer, teacher, and then in the field of insurance, finance and banking. Since May 2014, a forced migrant has been living in Kyiv.
The artist about himself:
“As a professional artist, I started my career late, at 61 years old. But it is possible that this was what should have happened. Everything has its time. Rich life experiences have become the source of my creativity. My art is ambiguous and unlike any other, probably because “I paint with my heart." Sometimes I use an intuitive drawing, namely: not from life or from a photograph, but only what suits the subconscious, soul, heart.
Most importantly and completely unexpectedly for me, after a series of works I began to understand where my images come from... I think that I or my essence saw them in our past or future life.
Despite my little experience, I already have more than two hundred paintings, about forty of them have found “their home" in private collections and museums."
The paintings are in the Lutsk Art Museum, in the Korsakov Family Museum of Contemporary Art.
