Description
This captivating work features three variations of a female face on adjacent panels. The striking contrast between black and white and bright yellow horizontal bands around the eyes immediately draws attention. The first panel shows the left eye closed, creating a sense of introspective calm. The central panel captivates with one eye open and one closed, adding a dimension of intriguing mystery. The final panel features both eyes closed, evoking meditative serenity. The red geometric lines on the cheeks establish a visual connection between the portraits, adding dynamic and symbolic tension. This work masterfully plays with the duality of seen/unseen, awake/sleep, prompting reflection on perception and identity. Its bold simplicity makes it a modern and memorable piece.
