Description
This artwork showcases a mesmerizing blend of texture and color, evoking the natural elements of land and sky. The composition is divided into horizontal layers, each conveying a distinct atmosphere. The top layer is a rich amalgamation of pink and muted purple hues, suggesting a sunset's glow. Below, an earthy mix of beige and brown creates a tactile, almost topographical surface, inviting closer inspection. The bottom section contrasts sharply with deep blues and greens, reminiscent of an abstract seascape. The use of mixed media enhances its depth and complexity, with the artist's technique of layering paints creating an intricate, almost sculptural surface. This interplay of colors and textures results in a dynamic visual experience, capturing the viewer's imagination and inviting them to interpret the scene's essence. A stunning representation of nature's palette, this piece is both grounding and ethereal.
Presentation
Enric Correa is a self-taught artist whose work explores the relationship between color, matter, and emotional territory. His artistic language lies between atmospheric abstraction and a poetics of layers, where texture and light construct landscapes that evoke memory, geology, and transformation. Through constant research, he combines acrylics, enamels, sprays, and textural materials to create deep and vibrant surfaces that reinterpret Nature from an intimate and sensory perspective.
In recent years, he has expanded his practice to include expressive figuration—especially birds—which extends his abstract universe into new forms of energy and presence. He has participated in numerous group exhibitions in Barcelona, as well as national art fairs and competitions, and his work has been recognized by the Esart Gallery (Barcelona), the Accademia Internazionale Greci-Marino (Italy), and various international platforms. He has also been featured in specialized publications such as Revistart.
