Description
"Strength in Color" is a captivating collection of contemporary abstract artworks that explores the dynamic interplay of positivity and adversity. Rendered in vibrant acrylics and aerosol on canvas, this series embodies the journey of overcoming life's challenges and emerging stronger. At the heart of each piece is a bold, orange figure, symbolizing the indomitable human spirit and the triumph of positivity over adversity. This vibrant hue stands out as a beacon of hope, resilience, and strength, illustrating the unwavering ability to rise above life's obstacles. Interwoven throughout the canvases are intricate white and black lines, representing the spectrum of experiences that shape us. The white lines signify the positive lessons and growth that come from overcoming difficulties, while the black lines reflect the scars and hardships that leave a lasting impact. Together, they create a textured narrative of life's dualities, acknowledging that both good and bad experiences contribute to our personal evolution. "Strength in Color" invites collectors to reflect on their own journeys, offering a visual testament to the power of positivity and the profound lessons learned through life's trials. This series not only celebrates the beauty of overcoming challenges but also serves as a reminder that strength and positivity can always prevail.
Presentation
Artist Statement:
My artwork began at an early age. For as long as I can remember, my interest in art has been present. I started drawing in pencils and colored pencils until venturing into my current preferred method of acrylic and mixed medium paintings.
I was raised in Mexico and it was there that art began to flourish as an essential part of my life.
In 2016 I obtained my Law degree and I'm currently working as tax specialist and foreign trade attorney in one of the most prestigious worldwide firms.
Art is not just a hobby in my life, but a lifestyle that has made me grow as a person every day.
It is the discipline that goes into each and every one of my paintings that makes them unique and special.
Artist Statement
My main interest is to promote positive thoughts of alternate situations, through colorful characters and shapes embodied in my works of art.
The visual perception that people could have when focusing on my works is fundamental to enter them into the globalized life that we currently have, in the happiness that a work could cause them and above all, to capture a positive ideology in all possible aspects.
My style is distinguished by the presence of everyday situations, I use bright colors, and disorder in my works is a fundamental part of associating myself with that Pop / Contemporary trend that lacks me.
To do this, I use different artistic techniques such as: drawing, painting, sculpture and the intervention of different objects.
Always maintaining the same process in each work, starting with an idea, translating it into various sketches, continuing with the in-depth development of the work and ending with the distinctive details of my style.
It is difficult to finish an artwork, since I always find new twists or details that I would like to add; That is why it is very important to be happy with the final result, in order to generate that same satisfaction for my collectors.
