Description
This captivating work is a line drawing depicting a fascinatingly complex female face. The swirling, almost chaotic lines create a rich texture and add emotional depth to the portrait. The gaze, raised to the sky, expresses both hope and contemplation. The hair, drawn with remarkable fluidity, appears to twirl as if caught in a light breeze. This interlacing line technique creates a sense of constant movement. The details of the eyes and lips are particularly striking, immediately drawing the viewer's attention. This unique work skillfully plays with the juxtaposition of chaos and order, and the contrast between the fine lines and the surrounding white space reinforces its visual dynamics. It is a masterful illustration of artistic expression and technique.
Presentation
Born in 1976, Sébastien Allart lives and works in Aix-en-Provence.
He begins to exhibit locally on various artists' markets and is spotted by France 3 television to illustrate a series of documentary films.
By successive strokes supported or sketched, wavy or angular, deployed or tightened, the works of Sebastien Allart give you the look he has on the real or imagined world, a world essentially in black and white. From his instinctive lines where the gaze triumphs, he lets an emotional charge escape, this charge which animates him and which he offers to the art lover.
His artistic work earned him to be in many galleries and contemporary art fairs.
