Description
This captivating portrait features a woman with elegant features, created through complex and dynamic lines. The haphazard yet controlled pencil strokes create a unique texture that brings the model's face to life, playing on contrasts and shadows. The piercing eyes immediately captivate the viewer, revealing a striking emotional depth. The artist masters the balance between abstraction and realism, making every stroke necessary. The hand placed close to the face adds a contemplative dimension, emphasizing a palpable introspection. The choice of a monochrome palette offers a sobriety that amplifies the intensity of the expression, allowing for a reflection on identity and inner complexity. This work exemplifies a perfect synergy between chaos and control, captivating with its boldness and precision.
Presentation
Born in 1976, Sébastien Allart lives and works in Aix-en-Provence.
He begins to exhibit locally on various artists' markets and is spotted by France 3 television to illustrate a series of documentary films.
By successive strokes supported or sketched, wavy or angular, deployed or tightened, the works of Sebastien Allart give you the look he has on the real or imagined world, a world essentially in black and white. From his instinctive lines where the gaze triumphs, he lets an emotional charge escape, this charge which animates him and which he offers to the art lover.
His artistic work earned him to be in many galleries and contemporary art fairs.
