This artwork presents a minimalist depiction of rustic architecture, featuring a series of white houses with striking orange-brown rooftops. The use of broad, confident brushstrokes contributes to the simplicity and elegance of the composition. The monochrome color palette, accentuated by the warm hues of the roofs, creates a stark yet harmonious visual contrast. The artist skillfully employs negative space to highlight the geometric forms of the buildings, emphasizing their structure and form. Black chimney-like shapes punctuate the scene, adding vertical interest and balance. This piece evokes a sense of tranquility and timelessness, inviting viewers to contemplate the serene, understated beauty of everyday architecture. The simplistic charm and thoughtful composition underscore the artist's mastery in transforming ordinary subjects into compelling visual narratives.

Series: Roof Series

Have Gratitude is a contemplative exploration of form, texture, and memory—part of the artist's Roof Series, which draws inspiration from the quiet geometries of everyday architecture. Through a layered application of acrylic and stone-finish plaster, the piece evokes the tactile presence of weathered rooftops and textured facades.

Warm earth tones—brown, yellow , beige, and off-white—anchor the composition, while cool white and soft black accents introduce a quiet contrast. This balance between warmth and coolness, solidity and air, mirrors the duality of the built environment: both shelter and openness, permanence and change.
