work from the series 66°: ICELAND - the silences of the soul

This captivating work depicts an Icelandic landscape vibrant with energy and color. The striking blue horizon blends seamlessly into the cloudy sky, while the distant volcanoes add majestic depth to the scene. The foreground is dominated by rocks in Iceland's distinctive hues, contrasting with the turquoise flashes of the lagoon's waters, which meander between them. The bold texture of the brushstrokes creates a sense of ceaseless movement, capturing the raw, wild beauty of nature that deserves protection. The interplay of warm and cool colors energizes each element, making the whole both realistic and slightly abstract. This work is distinguished by its ability to evoke both silence and energy, masterfully illustrating the duality of ice and fire. It invites the viewer to lose themselves in the contemplation of this natural and breathtaking balance.
