Description
This artwork vividly portrays a young girl standing in a lush, expansive field under a bright, blue sky. She is dressed in a simple white blouse and a traditional skirt composed of blue and pink layers, embodying a blend of innocence and earthiness. Her hair is adorned with a pink ribbon, adding a touch of youthful charm. In her arms, she holds a generous bundle of golden wheat, symbolizing harvest and abundance. The rolling green hills stretch into the distance, dotted with a solitary tree, enhancing the scene's pastoral tranquility. Pink wildflowers in the foreground provide a delicate contrast to the vibrant greenery, reflecting the rich and varied life of the countryside. The painting's soft brushstrokes and harmonious color palette evoke a sense of nostalgia and simplicity, capturing a serene moment of rural life with exceptional warmth and clarity.
Presentation
Teacher of therapeutic pedagogy and Spanish language in high school, I have always had a great passion for the French language, traditions and customs.
This passion made me want to capture their story in my oil paintings. I was able to capture their traditions from photos and old postcards in white and black, enjoying every moment of their heritage and adventure of life and history of their past. It was a way of being able to recreate them and always keep them in our memory. They have been a very important part of our lives.
