Description
This striking artwork features a surreal portrait of a woman adorned with a nautilus shell headdress, reflecting elegance and mystery. Her attire resembles iridescent scales, merging sea and fantasy elements. With closed eyes and a serene expression, she interacts gently with a golden seahorse, highlighted by a vibrant butterfly wing pattern. The juxtaposition of marine life and terrestrial motifs creates a harmonious blend of whimsy and reality. The dark background accentuates the vibrant colors, drawing attention to the intricate details and textures of the figures. This composition evokes a dreamlike narrative, inviting viewers to explore themes of nature, transformation, and the delicate interplay between different worlds. The artwork's unique fusion of elements captivates, leaving a lasting impression of enchantment and curiosity.
Presentation
Teacher of therapeutic pedagogy and Spanish language in high school, I have always had a great passion for the French language, traditions and customs.
This passion made me want to capture their story in my oil paintings. I was able to capture their traditions from photos and old postcards in white and black, enjoying every moment of their heritage and adventure of life and history of their past. It was a way of being able to recreate them and always keep them in our memory. They have been a very important part of our lives.
