Description
Dominated by blue, gray and beige hues, the composition perfectly evokes the Greek island of Santorini bathed in contrasting lights.
The simple geometric shapes of the buildings and the uniform windows give the work a naive, almost childlike aesthetic.
The cool color palette is punctuated by pops of bright red, subtly drawing the viewer's eye.
The absence of sky and the close arrangement of buildings reinforce the idea of urban density while maintaining a serene atmosphere.

Presentation
Chavé is the painter of color. His paintings exude gaiety, the joy of living and happiness. Self-taught painter who likes people to smile while looking at his paintings. His technique is spontaneous, sometimes naive and always fulfilling, ingenuous and often unruly. Drawing and perspective are not his priority, only the pleasure of handling color motivates him.
