Description
This vibrant artwork depicts an imaginary city with colorful and stylized buildings. The rectangular facades, with their varied hues of blue, gray, black and yellow, fit together harmoniously, reminiscent of a modern mosaic. Each building is unique with dominant black and white. The composition skillfully plays with variations in height and texture, giving a sense of movement and bustling urban life. This seductive work reveals not only remarkable technical know-how, but also an overflowing creativity that invites the viewer to explore an urban universe that is both familiar and resolutely original.
Presentation
Chavé is the painter of color. His paintings exude gaiety, the joy of living and happiness. Self-taught painter who likes people to smile while looking at his paintings. His technique is spontaneous, sometimes naive and always fulfilling, ingenuous and often unruly. Drawing and perspective are not his priority, only the pleasure of handling color motivates him.
