Description
This dazzling work immerses the viewer in a whirlwind of vibrant colors, dominated by deep, intense reds. The floral forms, though abstract, evoke an explosion of petals, bringing an almost palpable dynamic. Touches of emerald green and blue harmoniously accompany the contrast of red, suggesting a lush, blooming garden. The thick texture of the paint reveals bold, energetic brushstrokes, adding a tactile dimension to the overall effect. This painting succeeds in capturing a sense of movement and vitality, compelling the viewer to immerse themselves in its tumultuous beauty. A work that not only depicts nature, but recomposes it with striking vigor.
Presentation
Born in 1958, French of Armenian origin, Sylvie PULUR grew up in Marseille. After studying accounting in Paris, she rediscovered her passion for drawing and painting six years ago, after raising four children. Since then, she has devoted herself entirely to her art. A self-taught artist, she uses various techniques such as charcoal, graphite, ink, watercolor, pastel, oil and acrylic for her creations on canvas and paper. Her work is distinguished by a subtle play of color contrasts and emotions, inviting meditation and reverie. Her works are unique and imaginary, marked by significant periods of her life.
Sylvie PULUR's works reflect key moments in her life. The series "Les Marines" evokes her arrival in France by boat, with about twenty oil and acrylic paintings influenced by Ivan Aivazovsky's seascapes. Passionate about the Roaring Twenties and Art Deco, [he/she] also produced numerous sketches representing women of various origins, inspired by black and white photographs and the works of Tamara de Lempicka and Edward Hopper.
