Description
A quiet moment, caught in the golden breath of late light:
A figure sits bent forward, absorbed in the simple act of tying their shoes.
They are still inside – yet everything about them leans toward the world beyond.
Hands move quickly, but not in haste, as if wanting to linger in this in-between
between staying and going.
Above, a lamp hangs – plain, yet warm like a familiar voice in the dark.
Its light casts soft shadows on the floor, careful not to disturb the moment.
On the wall – almost like a window into another world – a poster:
Palm trees swaying in the wind of a setting sun,
its colors quietly seeping into the room.
Orange, violet – a trace of longing.
You can feel it: this person isn't just stepping outside,
they're carrying something with them –
a memory, perhaps, a quiet yearning,
or simply the wish to arrive somewhere
where the air tastes of salt
and the sky burns a little longer.
It is not loud, but the painting holds it still –
the quiet promise of a person to the day.
