This intimate still life is a beautiful study of light, color, and texture. Painted with bold, expressive brushstrokes, the composition features a reflective glass and two sliced green fruits resting on a softly illuminated surface. The artist masterfully captures the contrast between the cool, shimmering tones of the glass and the vibrant greens and blues that define the fruit.
The dark, atmospheric background enhances the drama of the scene, pushing the objects forward and allowing their colors to glow. The impressionistic application of paint—thick, energetic, and full of movement—creates a sense of spontaneity while still preserving the quiet simplicity of the subject. This artwork is a poetic exploration of everyday objects transformed through color harmony and expressive technique.
