Description
This captivating work is a symphony of color and abstract forms, brilliantly incorporating vibrant hues of yellow, pink, blue, and green. At first glance, the painting appears to be a chaotic kaleidoscope, but closer examination reveals a meticulous arrangement of lines and patterns. The outer frame, richly adorned with embossed motifs, creates an intriguing depth, guiding the eye toward the vibrant center. The artist plays with light and shadow to infuse movement, transforming each element into a dynamic dance. Sinuous lines and geometric figures interpenetrate, evoking abstract cityscapes. Sandra Bédu has always loved drawing, painting, and playing with colors and shapes. She dreams of becoming a painter.
She continued her artistic explorations later at the Rouen School of Fine Arts where she obtained a diploma in 1989.
After a long hiatus from her artistic practice, for several reasons, she resumed it in 2017. She has been a member of an artists' collective near Rouen in Normandy since 2018 and exhibits regularly, notably in Veules-les-Roses, Paris…
