Description

Freedom is always about pure energy and inner strength, and since ancient times, the horse has been its most powerful archetype. In this work, the image of the horse becomes a conduit for vital energy—a symbol of indomitable will and the pursuit of goals that cannot be confined within rigid boundaries.

The painterly technique is deliberate: it manifests the very essence of this ancient symbol. Expressive graphic contours, dripping flows of paint, and energetic brushstrokes visualize the pulsation of life, its fluidity, and its momentum. As a solar symbol and a guide between worlds, the horse appears here in motion—an embodiment of the speed of thought and wisdom striving toward the light.

The lightness of the azure hues, combined with the decisiveness of the lines, conveys a sense of air and flight. There is no stasis here, only the continuous emergence of form. This is a visual exploration of grace, where the act of painting itself becomes an act of liberation, leaving the viewer with a sense of renewal and a surge of vitality.

Presentation

Olena Kishkurno was born in Ukraine in 1976.

She graduated from Kharkiv State academy of design and arts with a master's degree as a restorer of easel and monumental painting. Since 2022 lives in Germany.  

Olena is an artist who explores the changes in humans resulting from the clash with the digital world, their integration into this realm, and subsequently, the loss of connection with their original essence.

The main mediums are painting and graphics. Works with oil painting, watercolor, acrylic, mixed media.
