Morning in the Garden, 2026

Olena Kishkurno

Morning in the Garden from the Gardens series.
Morning in the Garden captures the quiet atmosphere of a garden at dawn, when the first light begins to reveal the colours of flowers and foliage.
A solitary woman walks through a field of luminous greens, soft blues, lilacs and pinks. Her figure is woven into the surrounding colour, becoming part of the rhythm of the garden rather than standing apart from it.
Built from hundreds of expressive, rhythmic brushstrokes, the painting explores light, colour and movement through the language of Contemporary Impressionism. The fragmented surface creates a sense of shimmering morning air, while the female figure brings a quiet human presence to the landscape.
Part of the Gardens series, the work is inspired by memories of gardens and those rare moments of complete peace when the world feels particularly quiet and time seems to move more slowly.
This contemporary figurative garden painting combines elements of Contemporary Impressionism, expressive landscape painting and figurative art, with an emphasis on flowers, morning light, colour and atmosphere.
The painting will be carefully rolled and shipped in a protective tube to ensure the best possible protection during delivery. Shipped in roll.
