Description
This painting depicts a tranquil northern lakeside, where calm waters mirror distant trees and two small boats float quietly at the shore. The scene invites a moment of presence, a pause to simply breathe and exist within the rhythm of nature.
Pines and leafy birches along the beach evoke a sense of stillness, timelessness, and quiet balance. Alone yet connected, you feel both the solitude of the moment and a deep harmony with the surrounding landscape.
Painted on canvas with a delicate blend of mediums, the work celebrates subtle light, gentle reflections, and the serene beauty of northern nature, offering a space for calm reflection and mindful presence.
Presentation
Ksenia Tsyganyuk, born in 1991 in northern Russia, began her artistic career after moving to Rivne, Ukraine. Her paintings—landscapes and still lifes—capture a joyful, childlike sense of wonder through vibrant colors, rich textures, and ornamental details. With a touch of naïveté in her imagery, she seeks to awaken the viewer's “inner child," reminding them of how beautiful the world is when one is free from expectations, eager to explore, and ready to experiment.
In today's fast-changing and stressful world—marked by crises, wars, and forced migration—it's easy to lose balance and feel overwhelmed. Ksenia's art offers a moment of respite, inviting viewers into a dialogue with their own feelings of lightness and freedom. She hopes to rekindle the emotions of childhood, when one felt safe, at home, and surrounded by love. Her goal is to create art that helps people reconnect with their inner Sun—the light that guides them through life.
Ksenia works in mixed media, blending acrylic and oil on canvas. She favors a loose, expressive style that preserves the spontaneity of each brushstroke, allowing emotions to flow freely onto the canvas.
