A kitten rests on a sofa, soft and unguarded — yet somewhere within, it already knows itself as something greater. Not small, not fragile, but vast. A quiet lion in the making. It looks out at life with a natural sense of permission, as if nothing needs to be earned, proven, or justified — as if everything is already allowed.

The red space around it holds a certain tension. It can feel like a challenge: how much are you willing to allow yourself? To be seen, to take up space, to exist in full color. We are often taught to soften, to blend in, to dim ourselves. And yet here, red becomes a declaration. A color of life at its peak — vivid, pulsing, unapologetic.

This intensity connects to something fundamental — the base of our being, the place of grounding, safety, and instinct. A quiet inner foundation where the right to exist, to feel, to take up space is not questioned. In this space, the kitten does not resist the boldness around it. It belongs there effortlessly.

This work is about permission. About the moment you finally exhale and allow yourself to soften. To stretch out like a cat in the sun, without purpose, without urgency, without needing to justify your stillness.

Because stillness is not the absence of movement. It is a gathering of energy. A quiet preparation for a precise and true beginning.

There is a certain luxury in this allowing. In choosing brightness, presence, boldness. In becoming not just the kitten, but the king — a state that is not given from the outside, but revealed from within.

This is where it begins.
And this is where it is released.

About the series
“Moroccan Dream" is a series about personal growth in a world often marked by instability. Inspired by Morocco's blend of tradition and modernity, the paintings explore harmony between heritage and change, adulthood and the inner child. Shifting perspectives — from garden views to intimate citrus details — invite the viewer to reconnect with nature, color, and moments of calm.

Presentation

Ksenia Tsyganyuk, born in 1991 in northern Russia, began her artistic career after moving to Rivne, Ukraine. Her paintings—landscapes and still lifes—capture a joyful, childlike sense of wonder through vibrant colors, rich textures, and ornamental details. With a touch of naïveté in her imagery, she seeks to awaken the viewer's “inner child," reminding them of how beautiful the world is when one is free from expectations, eager to explore, and ready to experiment.

In today's fast-changing and stressful world—marked by crises, wars, and forced migration—it's easy to lose balance and feel overwhelmed. Ksenia's art offers a moment of respite, inviting viewers into a dialogue with their own feelings of lightness and freedom. She hopes to rekindle the emotions of childhood, when one felt safe, at home, and surrounded by love. Her goal is to create art that helps people reconnect with their inner Sun—the light that guides them through life.

Ksenia works in mixed media, blending acrylic and oil on canvas. She favors a loose, expressive style that preserves the spontaneity of each brushstroke, allowing emotions to flow freely onto the canvas.
