Original painting from our collection
This artwork presents a vibrant still life composition, blending bold colors with dynamic brushstrokes. Dominating the scene is a large, textured cabbage in brilliant shades of yellow and green, capturing light and shadow intricately. Next to it, three pears rest elegantly on a rich, red cloth, their forms highlighted by thoughtful contrasts. On the right, a small tin container holds delicate lavender sprigs, their soft blue hues adding a fresh, calming element to the composition. The use of deep blues and purples in the background adds depth and complexity, creating a striking balance between warmth and coolness. This piece excels in its use of contrasting textures and colors, offering viewers a captivating exploration of everyday objects in an extraordinary light.

Works in a creative workshop
Vyacheslav Babak is a recognized master of landscape painting. The artist's canvases are filled with lyricism and romantic mood.
His color palette is devoid of excessive expressiveness; in almost every painting, the image of nature is depicted using the quiet “sound" of soft halftones, giving lightness and depth.
