Description
From the series “Inner Landscapes"
This painting is part of the Inner Landscapes series, where landscape becomes a reflection of memory, emotion, and inner states that cannot be described directly, only felt.
The Air Feels New captures a state in which the space feels clear and filled with light, fresh air, and calm. It evokes the sensation after rain, when the sun reappears, the air becomes transparent, and everything feels more alive, light, and open.
Soft, expressive brushstrokes in layered shades of blue unfold across the surface, evoking reflections on water, movement of air, and the delicate rhythm of droplets touching the surface. These shades of blue create a sense of depth, purity, and inner balance, enhancing the atmosphere of calm and lightness. Light circular gestures suggest ripples - subtle traces of what has just passed, leaving behind clarity, freshness, and stillness.
Existing between abstraction and landscape, the work combines elements of abstract landscape, contemporary impressionism, abstract impressionism, and abstract expressionism. It does not depict a specific place, but creates an emotional space - a state the viewer can enter and experience as their own.
With its luminous, airy palette and gentle movement, the painting brings a sense of freshness, light, calm, and emotional clarity into the space. It is well suited for modern interiors, minimalist spaces, and collector-focused contemporary art collections, where art is chosen not only for its visual presence but for the atmosphere it creates.
A work about stillness filled with air and light - a state where one wants to pause, take a deeper breath, and simply be.
