Description
This artwork is an acrylic painting on canvas mounted on a stretcher frame, depicting the Girondins Fountain in Bordeaux as if brought to life. It was painted entirely outdoors. It is signed on the front and back. The edges are painted black. It is shipped with a certificate of authenticity.
This artwork represents a dynamic and mythological scene where energetic horses and heroic figures dominate the canvas. The use of bluish and white hues creates an aquatic and dreamlike atmosphere, accentuating the intensity of the scene. At the center, a powerful figure brandishes a scepter, a symbol of command and mastery, surrounded by tumultuous sea creatures. The swirling movement of the waves and the posture of the horses convey an indomitable strength and untamed energy. The artist captures the duality of strength and grace, generating a palpable tension. The contrasts of light and shadow add dramatic depth, transforming the artwork into a true visual spectacle. Every detail, from the texture of the waves to the determined expression of the figures, contributes to an epic and captivating narrative, immersing the viewer in a legendary and vibrant world.
