Description
Korf 32
Oil painting Silver Forest Natalia Korf-Ivaniuk is a striking winter landscape that captures the quiet poetry of a snow-covered woodland. The composition is built on a rhythmic interplay of dark tree trunks and luminous, textured snow, creating depth and a sense of stillness. Subtle accents of cool blue and muted crimson enrich the scene, adding emotional nuance and visual contrast. The artist demonstrates exceptional mastery through expressive palette knife technique and thick impasto layers, giving the surface a tactile, almost sculptural quality. Light is skillfully rendered across the uneven snow, enhancing the illusion of space and atmosphere. Natalia Korf-Ivaniuk balances abstraction and realism, allowing the viewer to feel both the physical presence and the mood of the forest. This original oil painting is ideal for collectors of contemporary landscape art and textured, atmospheric compositions.
Presentation
Natalia Korf-Ivanyuk (b. 1985, Kremenchuk, Ukraine) is a contemporary Ukrainian artist whose work blends ethnic symbolism, poetic abstraction, and refined painterly expression. After graduating from Poltava National Yuri Kondratyuk University, she remained there as a lecturer in the Department of Fine and Decorative Arts. Since 2010, she has been a member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine and an active participant in exhibitions, plein airs, and international art projects.
Working in oil, mixed media, and graphic techniques, Korf-Ivanyuk creates visually striking compositions inspired by Ukrainian cultural heritage, nature, and the connection between past and present. Her paintings often feature abstracted botanical forms that transform into symbolic, almost living entities. Through luminous color fields, elegant lines, and layered textures, she builds harmonious compositions filled with movement and emotional depth.
Her artistic language is distinguished by a balance between decorative sophistication and philosophical content. Simple motifs evolve into metaphorical images that evoke memory, identity, and the quiet poetry of everyday life. This distinctive style, combined with refined color relationships and a strong sense of composition, makes her work instantly recognizable.
Korf-Ivanyuk has participated in numerous exhibitions across Ukraine and Europe and is regularly represented in galleries and curated art projects. Her works are held in museum and private collections, including the Museum of Contemporary Art of Ukraine, and are increasingly sought after by collectors for their originality, cultural resonance, and contemporary aesthetic.
