Burning Sky, 2026

Contemporary abstract acrylic from the Horizons series, exploring natural elements through color, contrast, and atmospheric composition.

"Burning Sky" captures a moment of heightened intensity, where the atmosphere becomes charged with energy and color begins to radiate from within.

The composition is structured through a softened horizontal division — a subtle horizon that separates yet connects two states: the dense, heated sky above and the cooler, more fluid space below. This transition creates a tension between expansion and grounding, between upward movement and quiet containment.

Saturated reds and warm pinks dominate the upper field, carrying a sense of internal heat and pressure, while lighter, diffused tones and cooler blues introduce contrast and breath. The surface feels alive, as if the color itself is in motion — spreading, dissolving, and reforming.

Within Horizons, the work resonates with the element of fire in its active state — not contained, but unfolding. It reflects a moment of transformation, where intensity reaches its peak and begins to shift into something new.

The painting holds a dynamic balance between force and softness, evoking the fleeting yet powerful nature of light at its most radiant.

Featuring a soft horizon line, this artwork combines rich red and pink tones with cooler blue accents, evoking the intensity of a glowing sky. Layered brushwork and fluid transitions create depth, movement, and a sense of warmth and energy.

Ideal for collectors of contemporary abstract art, expressive color compositions, and atmospheric landscapes, this piece brings intensity, warmth, and a bold visual presence to modern interiors.
