Description
The city in this painting resembles a memory slowly fading in the light.
The white and pink planes of the buildings are rendered in thick brushstrokes, like walls that remember the heat, the wind and distant voices. Domes and roofs emerge from the haze, like ancient music echoing through time.
In this almost monochrome silence, turquoise windows and pink glimmers suddenly flare up — like fleeting moments of life amidst the eternity of stone.
The painting does not seek precision — it captures a feeling.
The sensation of warm air, a slow-moving day, and a city that lives not in its architecture, but in the light that glides across its walls.

09 March 1957 - was born in the Cernihiv Region, Ukraine
1974-1978-studied at Kyiv College of Art and Design
1982 - finished at the private Art School of V. Zaretsky
1982-1988-studied at Ukrainian Academy of Art (in the Department of Fresco and Mural Painting of Professor M. Storozhenko) Ukrainian National Art Prize Winner
1992 - student at the Fine Art Department of the Cheltenham and Gloucester College of Higher Education (Great Britain)
