Véronique Baleste, a native of the Bassin d’Arcachon, is an artist whose career is marked by a deep quest for meaning and expression. After studying sociology and a career in teaching, she allowed a long-buried passion to emerge: painting. For sixteen years, this practice has become a vital necessity for her, an intimate language, a way of feeling and celebrating life in all its richness.

The inspiration of Street art Street art transforms the city into an open gallery. It inspires her with its spontaneity, its expressive force, and its accessibility. She transposes this raw energy into her work, in search of an art that dialogues with the world.

Writing as an inner voiceText has imposed itself in her canvases as a parallel voice. First through quotations, then through her own words, it becomes a breath, a whisper, a scream. It adds a layer of meaning, an inner voice that prolongs the pictorial gesture.
