Description

This expressive coastal artwork captures the raw beauty and emotional atmosphere of hidden tropical beaches through rich texture and bold palette knife movement. Thick layers of oil paint create an almost sculptural surface where emerald water, lush jungle greenery, warm sandy cliffs, and flashes of coastal light blend into a vibrant sensory experience. The composition feels spontaneous and alive, as if the beach itself decided to leave a memory directly on the canvas before the tide erased it.

Created in oil on canvas, this contemporary seascape artwork combines abstraction and landscape painting through energetic texture and layered color relationships. Emerald green, turquoise blue, creamy sand tones, and deep tropical shadows interact dynamically across the surface, creating movement, depth, and emotional warmth. The heavy impasto technique allows light to catch different textures throughout the day, making the artwork constantly shift and evolve visually. Honestly, this is the type of artwork that quietly convinces people they should quit replying to emails and move somewhere near coconuts immediately.

Perfect for modern interiors, beach houses, luxury living rooms, boutique hotels, coastal-inspired spaces, spas, creative interiors, and contemporary homes, this artwork brings warmth, escape, and natural energy into a room. It is also an ideal gift for travelers, ocean lovers, collectors, interior designers, and anyone dreaming of tropical freedom and sunlit coastal mornings.

Presentation

Mily ART (Emiliia) is a contemporary painter based in Ubud, Indonesia. She graduated in 2015 from the Russian University of the Academy of Education in Moscow with a degree in Fine Arts.

Working primarily in oil with a palette knife, Emiliia creates expressive impasto paintings defined by rich texture, bold color, and dynamic movement. Her visual language is built through thick layers of paint, flowing drips, and energetic strokes that emphasize the physical presence of the medium. The surface of the canvas becomes an active field where color, light, and gesture interact.

Nature is the central source of her inspiration. Flowers and landscapes encountered during her travels transform into emotional landscapes—vivid, blooming compositions that reflect vitality, freedom, and renewal. Her ongoing series Flowing Flowers explores the sensation of awakening life, using intensified hues and sculptural impasto to convey emotional release and movement.

Emiliia often begins with plein air studies or travel photography, later developing these impressions into large-scale works. Rather than reproducing nature, she translates its energy into tactile color fields, allowing paint itself to embody growth and motion.

Her work has been presented in international and national exhibitions, including The Color of Summer at the Ostankino TV Tower (2024) and The Flower Kingdom at the Moscow Union of Artists (2022), where her painting Peonies received First Prize. She held a solo exhibition at IZO Gallery in Moscow in 2019.

Through expressive oil painting and sculptural texture, Emiliia creates contemporary works that celebrate the emotional power of nature—inviting viewers to slow down, feel presence, and reconnect with color as a living force.
