Luminous drift, 2026

Anna Selina

This painting inhabits a space between presence and dissolution. Built through translucent layers of turquoise, aqua, lime, soft yellow, and violet, it creates a luminous atmosphere in which gesture becomes mist, light becomes structure, and color becomes an emotional field. Suggesting water, air, and memory without fixing into representation, the work remains intentionally open. It invites the viewer into a contemplative encounter with subtle movement, inner spaciousness, and the quiet intensity of perception.

The painting invites quiet contemplation. Rather than presenting a fixed image, it offers an experience of sensation: light passing through water, the memory of a landscape, the trace of an inner state. Its translucent structure and subtle shifts of color create a sense of depth, softness, and emotional openness. Balancing energy and stillness, the work explores the moment where perception becomes feeling — where color, gesture, and space gather into something intimate, meditative, and alive.
