Description
This painting was born from a moment when everything felt too loud—thoughts colliding, emotions overlapping, time moving faster than reason. The colors crash into each other like opposing forces, yet within the chaos there is rhythm, as if the painting is breathing on its own. The fiery reds carry urgency, the blues bring calm resistance, and the gold cuts through like a spark of clarity. It is a portrait of inner motion — the moment when confusion transforms into power, and disorder becomes creation.
Presentation
Mariam Baidoshvili is a Georgian artist working primarily in large-scale abstract painting, whose work is rooted in the atmosphere of dreams and fairy tales. She holds a Master's degree in Fine Arts from the Tbilisi State Academy of Arts in Georgia. Growing up in the country's culturally rich landscape has deeply shaped her artistic voice—a blend of fluid movement, ethereal color palettes, and compositions that invite the viewer into imaginative, almost otherworldly spaces.
Each painting she creates is meant to offer a kind of visual escape, a space where reality begins to dissolve and something more poetic takes its place. She strives to evoke wonder, emotion, and quiet introspection through the deliberate use of color, texture, and layered storytelling.
Over the years, Mariam has participated in exhibitions both in Georgia and across Europe. While her practice continues to evolve, one thing stays constant: her passion for creating artworks that feel like windows into an inner world—where abstraction becomes narrative, and the visual becomes deeply personal.
