Description
Shipped in roll
The journey inward lasts a lifetime. It leads us through years of living, through loss and joy, fear and love, mistakes and discoveries. Every experience leaves its mark, shaping the inner landscape of who we become.
At first, it feels like a path we must walk alone. Yet, with time, another realization begins to emerge: life has not only challenged us—it has also sustained us. Intuition, unexpected encounters, remarkable coincidences, and a quiet inner knowing gradually come together to reveal a simple truth: we have never been walking alone.
Trusting My Depths reflects on a form of trust that reaches far beyond confidence in our own decisions. It is a trust in life itself—in the invisible connection that binds us to the world and continues to guide us, even when the way ahead seems uncertain.
The painting resonates with Albert Einstein's reflection that our sense of separateness is a kind of "optical illusion of consciousness." If we are part of an interconnected whole, then trust is no longer an act of faith. It becomes a natural response to recognizing that we belong to something infinitely greater than the individual self.
series Deep Within Myself
Depth is not a place. It is a way of seeing the world.
The Deep Within Myself series explores depth as an inner territory where the personal intersects with the archetypal. The realm of blue—from luminous light to near-impenetrable darkness—becomes a field of the unconscious, a space of memory, instinct, embodied knowledge, and primordial force. The series emerged from the experience of an inner descent and a gradual approach toward what initially inspired fear through its vastness and mystery.
In these works, depth is not only a psychological metaphor but also a world governed by its own laws. Human figures, water, archetypal beings, animals, and darkness coexist as equal manifestations of a single reality. They do not invite literal interpretation, nor are they reduced to symbols. Their presence creates a space where intuition, embodied memory, and rational knowledge exist side by side.
The image of the Witch runs throughout the series as an archetype of feminine presence. She neither resists the unknown nor seeks to master it. Her strength lies in the ability to remain close to what cannot be fully understood or explained.
The title Deep Within Myself refers not only to a journey inward but also to a way of living in relationship with that depth—without the need to dissolve it in explanations or strip it of its mystery. Within this space, fear gradually gives way to trust, and the unknown becomes part of lived experience.
