Description
"We Dance As One" celebrates unity, rhythm, and connection. Bold geometric forms and layered colors mirror one another across two canvases, evoking two figures moving together in harmony. The richness of the surface comes from multiple layers of paint, creating depth, vibrancy, and texture that bring the composition to life.
Contrasting yet complementary, the paintings embody the energy of dance. A striking statement piece that radiates movement, balance, and vitality.
Medium: Acrylic paint on gallery grade canvas. Finished with gloss varnish to protect against dust and UV.
Each panel is 130x94cm. Together the artwork is 130x188cm.
Signed Certificate of Authenticity.
The artwork was painted on un-stretched Italian cotton canvas, with a 6 cm border left for stretching onto a canvas frame. This artwork is shipped rolled in a tube for safe international delivery and can be affordably stretched at your local framing store.
Presentation
Samantha Malone is an Australian/Israeli artist based in Tel Aviv. Her work is about movement, balance, and the way shapes and color interact on the canvas. She is interested in creating compositions that feel rhythmic and alive, where structure exists but doesn't feel rigid. Geometry often sits at the base of the work, softened by intuitive marks and a more fluid process.
She works with acrylic paint and mixed media, building layers of color, line, and pattern. Shapes are adjusted, broken apart, and reworked, with sometimes parts of the surface scraped back to reveal what came before. This layering adds depth and keeps the work open and dynamic.
Color is central to her art practice. She use contrast and repetition to create a sense of flow, inviting the eye to move across the surface and linger. The paintings are abstract, but they aim to feel playful, considered, and connected, leaving space for the viewer to bring their own meaning to the work.
Her works can be found in private collections across Europe, the UK, the USA, Asia, Canada, Australia, the UAE and Israel.
