Description
This acrylic portrait explores the codes of cubism and expressionism.
The face fragments into several planes. The features overlap to suggest several simultaneous viewpoints.
The gaze, central and intense, guides the reading of the composition.
A contrasting palette opposes the softness of an orange background to the density of black and opaque hair.
The bust, dressed in a luminous green, anchors the figure in a figurative reality while maintaining a graphic stylization.
The black line, sharp and assured, outlines the contours and structures the space.
This approach deconstructs classical forms to translate a psychological tension.
The chromatic balance between warm and cool tones brings visual harmony to the whole.
The composition ends with a discreet signature in the lower right corner.
