Description
This abstract composition captures the raw energy of a coastal landscape. Bold strokes of teal and deep navy dominate the center. They evoke the crushing force of a midnight tide. Thick impasto layers create a tactile surface. The paint feels sculpted. Light breaks through the upper register in pale whites and soft creams. This contrast suggests a dawn horizon or a mist-covered shore. Earthy ochre accents emerge from the depths. These warm tones ground the cool palette. The movement is chaotic yet balanced. Each gesture reflects a spontaneous emotional response to nature. The artist employs a palette knife to build density. This technique adds a rugged architectural quality to the scene. The gaze wanders through fractured planes of color. It mimics the reflection of light on churning water. The artwork oscillates between atmospheric openness and dense materiality. It transforms a natural vista into a visceral sensory experience. The composition concludes with a luminous wash of icy blue at the base.
