Description

This mixed-media composition explores the boundary between dream and reality. A fragmented face emerges from a sea horizon, where the deep blue of the water meets the clarity of the sky. The gaze, precise and intense, captures attention at the center of a complex assembly.
The artist superimposes figurative elements to create a surprising visual narrative. A bird with dark feathers dominates the upper part, while a delicate hand seems to hold a fragment of nature. The play of contrasts between deep black and pastel tones brings a singular depth to the whole.
The line alternates between the precision of drawing and the freedom of painting. This hybrid approach transforms the portrait into a mental landscape. The structure fragments, giving way to a dreamlike imagery where animal and human forms intertwine.
The work is distinguished by its balance between technical rigor and imagination. The rendering of textures, from plumage to skin, testifies to a mastery of the medium. The scene concludes with a fluid signature, placed at the bottom of the canvas.
