Description
This figurative composition explores the fragmentation of the gaze and speech. The human face fragments into several planes, superimposing sketched lines onto blocks of color. The black line, precise and nervous, defines ambiguous expressions between astonishment and confidence.
The artist uses mixed media techniques to create a play of textures. Pieces of paper seem glued onto the canvas, breaking the classical perspective. Yellow and ochre tones dominate the scene, contrasting with a bright sky blue background.
The animal theme invites itself to the heart of the portrait. Birds, with detailed feathers, fly over the faces as if to illustrate an invisible dialogue. The movement of the wings brings an aerial dynamism to the whole.
This 2025 painting skillfully blends drawing and color. The assembly of geometric shapes and organic curves creates a constant visual tension. The viewer's gaze circulates between the fragments of faces and the flight of the birds. The work ends with a discreet signature in the lower right corner.
