Description
This composition explores the fluidity of forms and colors. The gesture is intuitive. The material spreads with freedom on the canvas.
A dialogue is established between warm tones and cool shades. Splashes of ochre and red oppose bluish and gray backgrounds.
The work brings an airy lightness.
Certain areas seem to blend into a luminous mist. Others assert themselves with more marked, almost organic lines.
The whole evokes an inner state, a passage towards calm. The eye circulates between the areas of light and the dense shadows.
Presentation
To liberate, through painting and writing, the themes that are dear to my heart.
After attending several workshops and working with different techniques, I chose watercolor and acrylic a few years ago.
This nuanced and sensitive approach reflects my personality. That's why I practice watercolor with mixed media on canvas or paper (watercolor, acrylic, collage, ink), and gravitate towards semi-abstract or abstract art. This pictorial path, this "process" of mine, stimulates my creativity, grants me joyful freedom in the interplay of colors, and opens me up to a dreamlike world.
I mostly paint "intuitively," meaning I apply colors according to my mood, collages, water, and let it dry.
I work on wet paper, progressing according to the drying times. Then I examine my painting from all angles to identify what my subconscious has wanted to reveal. This allows me to paint and write about themes close to my heart: the protection of children and the vulnerable, of nature, and of the abuse of power. I then work on what emerges until the piece is complete.
My painting is free, fluid, easy… and comes directly from my soul. It is a reflection of my unconscious.
I published my first book in 2022, "The Power of the Soul: Being Yourself in Transparency." I just published my second book in 2023, "Creative at Heart: The Intuitive Breath." A few words accompany the presentation of my works, but each reader is free to interpret them as they see fit.
