Description
Acrylic comes alive here in a subtle balance between abstraction and figuration. The composition evokes a dreamlike forest. Silhouettes of trees rise, anchored in earth-toned ground.
The gesture is free. The colors intertwine fluidly. A deep blue dominates the upper left part, while flashes of yellow and orange bring a solar luminosity to the center.
The intuitive approach guides the hand. The material has been deposited in successive layers, creating visual depth. The eye circulates between the organic forms and the areas of pure color.
This composition explores the relationship between human and nature. It translates an inner state through a spontaneous chromatic play.
The technique leaves room for the unpredictable. Washes and precise touches structure the space. The whole unfolds on a square canvas where light seems to emanate from the heart of the landscape.
Presentation
To liberate, through painting and writing, the themes that are dear to my heart.
After attending several workshops and working with different techniques, I chose watercolor and acrylic a few years ago.
This nuanced and sensitive approach reflects my personality. That's why I practice watercolor with mixed media on canvas or paper (watercolor, acrylic, collage, ink), and gravitate towards semi-abstract or abstract art. This pictorial path, this "process" of mine, stimulates my creativity, grants me joyful freedom in the interplay of colors, and opens me up to a dreamlike world.
I mostly paint "intuitively," meaning I apply colors according to my mood, collages, water, and let it dry.
I work on wet paper, progressing according to the drying times. Then I examine my painting from all angles to identify what my subconscious has wanted to reveal. This allows me to paint and write about themes close to my heart: the protection of children and the vulnerable, of nature, and of the abuse of power. I then work on what emerges until the piece is complete.
My painting is free, fluid, easy… and comes directly from my soul. It is a reflection of my unconscious.
I published my first book in 2022, "The Power of the Soul: Being Yourself in Transparency." I just published my second book in 2023, "Creative at Heart: The Intuitive Breath." A few words accompany the presentation of my works, but each reader is free to interpret them as they see fit.
