Description
The image unfolds like a dreamlike landscape. Cold tones dominate the composition. Shades of blue and gray intertwine in a fluid movement. The white background brings an airy luminosity.
The acrylic technique allows for a subtle play of textures here. Areas of transparency are adjacent to denser passages. The stroke is sometimes nervous, almost calligraphic, to structure the space.
In the center, a touch of bright orange attracts the eye. This focal point breaks the chromatic monotony. It acts as a signal, a spark of warmth in a mineral environment.
The intuitive approach guides the hand. The boundary between abstraction and figuration remains blurred. Organic shapes, fragments of rock, or shards of ice are discernible.
The gaze circulates freely between the areas of shadow and light. The whole evokes a breath, a renewal. The composition ends with dark and precise touches in the lower right corner.
Presentation
To liberate, through painting and writing, the themes that are dear to my heart.
After attending several workshops and working with different techniques, I chose watercolor and acrylic a few years ago.
This nuanced and sensitive approach reflects my personality. That's why I practice watercolor with mixed media on canvas or paper (watercolor, acrylic, collage, ink), and gravitate towards semi-abstract or abstract art. This pictorial path, this "process" of mine, stimulates my creativity, grants me joyful freedom in the interplay of colors, and opens me up to a dreamlike world.
I mostly paint "intuitively," meaning I apply colors according to my mood, collages, water, and let it dry.
I work on wet paper, progressing according to the drying times. Then I examine my painting from all angles to identify what my subconscious has wanted to reveal. This allows me to paint and write about themes close to my heart: the protection of children and the vulnerable, of nature, and of the abuse of power. I then work on what emerges until the piece is complete.
My painting is free, fluid, easy… and comes directly from my soul. It is a reflection of my unconscious.
I published my first book in 2022, "The Power of the Soul: Being Yourself in Transparency." I just published my second book in 2023, "Creative at Heart: The Intuitive Breath." A few words accompany the presentation of my works, but each reader is free to interpret them as they see fit.
