Faille solaire, 2026

This vertical piece deploys a strong visual tension between raw material and luminous brilliance. The composition seems crossed by a dark, almost telluric fissure, which structures the space and acts as a fracture line. On either side, the colored areas – intense pinks, milky whites, and golden touches – evoke both an organic map and a changing landscape.

The combined use of acrylic, gold leaf, and glitter creates a subtle dialogue between opacity and reflection. The gold captures the light and reflects it differently depending on the angle, giving the work a living and changing dimension. Thick textures and material effects suggest a spontaneous, almost instinctive gesture, which contrasts with the preciousness of the materials.

One can read in it a metaphor for transformation: an buried energy that emerges, a beauty born from rupture. The work oscillates between abstraction and mineral evocation, like a geological cut where strata of emotions and light emerge.

Solar Fissure is a unique work that combines visual power and material richness. Its tall, slender format makes it an ideal piece to structure a space, while its golden accents bring a luminous presence that evolves throughout the day.

The work of textures and noble materials – notably the gold leaf – places this creation in a demanding contemporary approach, at the crossroads of painting and the precious object. Every detail reveals a depth and vibration that reproduction cannot restore.
