Description
This oil painting captures a moment of raw, visceral energy. Thick black strokes dominate the composition. They clash and collide across a pale background. The movement is aggressive. It feels like a sudden eruption of emotion. Swirls of white paint cut through the darkness. They create a sense of depth and chaotic light. Tiny splatters radiate outward. They suggest a violent explosion of form.
The artist avoids the mundane. He focuses instead on the mysterious and the unseen. This artwork explores themes of devastation and perish. It rejects the predictable nature of everyday life. Each gesture is a reaction to an invisible force. The contrast between the stark void and the dense pigment creates a powerful tension. This tension pulls the viewer into a psychic landscape. The composition remains open and unpredictable. It concludes with a series of sharp, sweeping arcs that anchor the visual storm.
Presentation
"My art is part of my modus vivendi with which I oppose the intervening elements which penetrate everywhere and anywhere, erupting the possibility with aggressive malice. I register on canvas the projection of perish and devastation. From the very get-go, I vehemently deny the everyday existence of things which, even if it has a sense or a purpose and serves lofty ideals, will, nevertheless, not interest me. I deal only with mystery." - Vahan Roumelian
